After 15 months of turmoil, 5 cancelled examination sessions, outdoor performance in torrential wind and rain, hundreds of online sessions till we're all 'Zoomed out', we're finally all back together at The Palace. We can even hug! Yes, there's still the sanitizer, masks and social distancing but we're together and actually have a performance date (well, two, actually). Conor and Nate will be able to graduate in full style with the audience they deserve (everything crossed!). We have just had amazing examination results (all high Merits and Distinctions). We have the youngest ever student, Evelyn, gaining her Bronze Acting Medal (Year 7) with an outstanding score of 91. We gained 12 Medals, all high-scoring. We had several students taking their first exam (Grades 2-5) with amazing results, including Mia's fabulous 89. Ameerah (Year 9) gained a staggering 90 for her Silver Medal in Acting. All the results were incredible and I am so proud of you all.
I'd like to give a huge welcome to Esme, Rafe, Georgia and Joseph as they join us this term. We hope that you already feel part of the ELSA family and we can't wait for you to take part in your first show.
Enormous thanks to all the loyal and supportive families during these confusing months and to my amazing assistants - Katie and Sharon. You have all been stunningly fabulous and I love you all.
